Founded in January 2023, Uskside Amateur Radio Club is located in Newport, South Wales.
Our goal is to promote the Amateur Radio hobby, through bringing together like minded radio enthusiasts, both licenced and unlicensed from Newport and the surrounding area

The Club is affiliated with the Radio Society of Great Britain (Membership No. 600008)
Where & when we meet
From February 2024, the Club meets on Monday evenings
between 7 PM and 9 PM (for more information see our news page)
Meetings are held at Faith Church

On the Air:
Club members often monitor the GB3YA 2m repeater located
in Cwmbran on 145.7125 MHz (CTCSS 94.8Hz).
A Club on-air net has recently been established. Members meet
on 145.550 (S22) at 19:00-20:00 local time on Friday evenings.

We are pleased to announce we have been invited to the St John's Ambulance Open Day
to showcase our radio club to
help promote Amateur radio in the community and invite all those not only interested in joining in the hobby
but provide help with free training with exams and on into gaining
your own operating licence.
